Aimbridge Hospitality Names Stephanie Peterson Head of Marketing & Communications

    The seasoned MarCom executive is tasked with building strategic brand positioning and world-class communications practices that propel the company forward in its next phase of growth

    Aimbridge Hospitality, a leading, global hospitality management company, has appointed marketing and communications executive Stephanie Peterson to its newly created senior executive role of Head of Marketing & Communications. Reporting to Ann Christenson, Chief Human Resources Officer, the hire reflects Aimbridge Hospitality’s continued commitment to building out strategic areas of the business and infusing top talent within its executive leadership team while providing unparalleled benefits to its owners and associates.

    Peterson will oversee all marketing and communications duties at Aimbridge Hospitality, including working directly with Aimbridge Hospitality President & CEO Michael J. Deitemeyer to formulate powerful internal and external strategies that showcase the strength of Aimbridge Hospitality, build on the company’s culture and underscore the hospitality leader’s clear points of differentiation in the hospitality and management space.

    Peterson brings more than 20 years of experience in consumer and corporate communications, marketing, and B2B strategies. Most recently, she served as Head of Communications – North America for Kraft Heinz, where she designed the communications strategy and led all internal communications, corporate communications and brand public relations for the U.S. and Canada, the company’s largest Zone. During her time with Kraft Heinz she launched a successful turnaround story and revitalized a number of iconic brands by leveraging breakthrough, culturally relevant earned media campaigns that put the food-maker back on the map as one-to-watch.

    Prior to Kraft Heinz, Peterson was recruited as the first Head of Communications for IHOP Restaurants, and iconic $3B global breakfast brand, where she oversaw corporate, franchisee, employee, community relations, and brand public relations, including leading award-winning earned media campaigns such as IHOb. Earlier in her career, Peterson also held leadership roles in communications and marketing at KIND Snacks, PepsiCo, and The Dow Chemical Company.
