WOMEN

Aimbridge is proud to support the American Heart Association with a companywide campaign to help raise awareness and funds.

From humble beginnings, the AHA has grown into the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Since it’s creation almost 100 years ago, the AHA has invested more than $4.5 billion in research, more than any U.S. nonprofit organization. A shared focus on cardiovascular health unites more than 33 million volunteers and supporters across the country.

Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide, and stroke ranks second globally. Even when those conditions don’t result in death, they cause disability and diminish quality of life. The AHA want to see a world free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

The American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative, Go Red for Women, is a comprehensive movement designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally by raising critical funds.

It’s no longer just about wearing red; it’s no longer just about sharing heart health facts. It’s about all women making a commitment to stand together with Go Red and taking charge of their own heart health as well as the health of those they can’t bear to live without.
