Aimbridge Hospitality Names Gerard Forster As SVP-Chief Information Officer

Dave Johnson, President & CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality, is proud to announce the appointment of Gerard Forster as Senior Vice President-Chief Information Officer for Aimbridge Hospitality.

In his new role, Forster will help drive the company’s strategic business objectives by providing vision and leadership for operating a consistent and secure infrastructure and managing current and evolving technology systems across the organization.

“Aimbridge Hospitality and its partners will benefit immensely from Gerard’s comprehensive experience, said Dave Johnson, President & CEO of Aimbridge Hospitality. “He is a seasoned professional who has extensive expertise in designing, installing and administering computer networks,” continued Johnson.

Prior to joining Aimbridge Hospitality, Gerard Forster was a founding partner and Vice President of Information Technology at Evolution Hospitality. At Evolution, Gerard’s team was responsible for the architecture, optimization and administration of all systems, networks and applications. Gerard also served for 5 years as the vice president of information technology for Tarsadia Hotels where he held similar responsibilities. Before transitioning to the hospitality industry, Gerard worked on the senior leadership team of both Acoustic Home Loans and Towne & Country Mortgage. While in these posts, he was the chief architect, engineer, and project manager for each company, leading the development of automated underwriting and loan origination systems. Gerard has Bachelor’s Degree from Whittier College, where serves on the Board of Trustees; he has been married to his wife Gail for more than 30 years, and has two adult children, Patrick and Janine, and two grandchildren, Liam and Nina.
