Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Lance Kobza joined Aimbridge Hospitality in 2016 with the Pillar Hotels acquisition and has over 16 years of experience in Information Technology. Lance is responsible for Aimbridge’s Information Technology platform with a focus on the central infrastructure and applications that support Accounting, Accounts Payable, Tax, Treasury, and Business Analytics for Corporate and Hotel Operations Forecasting, Budgeting and Reporting.
Prior to joining Aimbridge, Lance was Chief Information Officer at Pillar Hotels and Resorts. Lance’s tenure at Pillar started in 2009 when Pillar was the in-house hotel management company for Goldman Sachs. At that time, Lance joined Goldman Sachs to lead the development and support of the Business Intelligence applications for approximately 350 hotels. In 2011, when Pillar separated from Goldman Sachs, Lance was instrumental in the effort to establish separate and standalone systems to support the management of over 235 select and full service hotels. Lance’s career also includes IT and Consulting roles at Hitachi Consulting and USAA.
Lance graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and is a member of the Society of Information Management.
Lance enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley, and three sons, Chase, Caden, and Carson. They enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, hunting and fishing.
