Ben Perelmuter joined Aimbridge in 2007 as a General Manager and brings 20 years of experience in hotel operations to the table. Upon graduation from State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a degree in Hospitality, Perelmuter started his career at the Grand Hyatt New York on Park Ave. Perelmuter then spent five years at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, a 1,200 room convention hotel adjacent to the Louisiana Superdome, where he had oversight of food & beverage operations and over 100,000 sq. feet of meeting space.
Mr. Perelmuter then ran Operations and F&B at the Marriott Resort on Clearwater Beach, FL for three years and ranked in the top % of customer satisfaction and restaurant quality within the Marriott brand. In 2007, Perelmuter joined Aimbridge as General Manager of the Embassy Suites Tampa Westshore. Ben received the Aimbridge GM leadership excellence award in 2009 for outstanding RevPar penetration & flow through, during the peak of the economic down cycle. One year later, Ben was promoted into a Regional Director of Operation role in Dallas, with multi-unit oversight of select service assets.
In 2013 Ben was promoted to Regional Vice President of Operations and expanded oversight into the Aimbridge full service managed assets.
In 2014 Ben was promoted to Vice President of Operations for all Aimbridge Managed Select Service assets including those under construction. Direct reports include Select Service Area General Managers & Regional Directors of Operations.
In February, 2016 Ben was promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations for Aimbridge Hospitality.
